What is your main role in relation to the LEAPH Lab?
As a research assistant with the LEAPH Lab, I contribute to projects such as the Health-Climate Co-Benefits initiative and the Health Research Hub. My work involves synthesizing knowledge and conducting literature reviews to support integrative approaches that connect health, ecosystems, and equity.
What brought you to this role?
My passion for creating equitable and sustainable healthcare systems, especially in rural and remote areas, led me to the LEAPH Lab. I was drawn to its commitment to learning from and with others across disciplines, cultures, and communities, and its focus on eco-social approaches to public health.
What is the most inspiring part of your work?
Seeing how thoughtful collaboration—across disciplines, cultures, and communities—can spark real, meaningful change in how we think about health and care.
What is something you are passionate about?
I'm passionate about building systems that actually work for people—especially those who have been historically underserved. And I love finding ways to connect research with real-world impact.
